Alayemore’s death: Oluwo, monarchs condole with family, chiefs, towns people


The National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria has paid a condolence visit to the family of Oba Aderemi Adedapo.

Oba Adedapo, the Alayemore of Ido-osun, died on Friday at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, Ile-Ife.

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, in a condolence message signed by his spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, said Oba Adedapo’s death is touching.

The traditional rulers were led by the Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, on Sunday.

Oba Akanbi made this known in a post on his official Facebook page.

The monarch said, “Today, on behalf of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, I, the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, led the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi and the Olororuwo of Ororuwo to pay condolence visit to the wives, princes, chiefs and the entire community of Ido-Osun, Osun State, on the demise of the Alayemore of Ido-Osun, HRM Oba (Dr.) Aderemi Adeen Adedapo.

“The entire council acknowledged his immense contribution to the Nigerian traditional council and pray his shortcomings be forgiven.”
