The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Ejezie Emeka Rollas, MON, has conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to President Tinubu for his compassionate intervention regarding the health of the ailing Zack Orji, who has traveled to the United Kingdom for post-surgery assessment.
Rollas also extended his gratitude to the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her nurturing care towards the veteran actor, as well as to the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu, for his unwavering support during this challenging time.
Additionally , he thanked Minister for Women Affairs, Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, for her tireless efforts in facilitating Zack Orji’s swift recovery, and expressed appreciation to Orji’s longtime friend, Ahmed Bala, for standing by him throughout the ordeal.
Highlighting President Tinubu’s unprecedented support for the creative industry, Rollas emphasized the President’s dedication to uplifting the sector for the benefit of practitioners and the national economy, underscoring the importance of acknowledging such efforts.
Rollas had previously expressed deep gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the appointments of AGN member, Ali Nuhu, as Managing Director of Nigeria Film Corporation, and other key professionals including Dr. Shaibu Husseini, Director-General of the National Film and Video Censors Board, and Obi Osika, Director-General of the Council for Arts and Culture.
It is worth recalling that rumors had circulated days earlier falsely claiming Zack Orji’s demise, which the AGN leadership promptly refuted.
