Governor Yusuf Orders Arrest of Emir Bayero
Governor Yusuf has directed law enforcement to apprehend the 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero. Bayero, returning to Kano under heavy security, made his way to the Emir’s Palace on Saturday. In the meantime, the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi, remains at the palace. Stay tuned for updates.
