Inter Milan table €40m for Ademola Lookman

Inter Milan are making a strong push to sign Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, with reports indicating the club has reached an agreement with the player.

According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter are prepared to offer €40 million for the 26-year-old, who has been on their radar as a top attacking target this summer.

Atalanta, however, are holding out for €50 million, but Inter are unwilling to go beyond their proposed bid. The Serie A vice-champions remain confident of securing the deal, especially as Lookman has already given his approval to join the Nerazzurri.

Sources say Inter want to wrap up negotiations quickly to avoid complications. If talks drag on, the club could switch attention to other targets, including Juventus’ Nico Gonzalez or Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who have been listed as alternatives.

Lookman, who played for Atalanta last season and had a key role in their Europa League triumph, is seen as a major addition to Inter’s squad as they prepare for another push in Serie A and the Champions League.
