Oba (Dr) Aderemi Adedapo, the Alayemore of Ido-Osun Kingdom in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, has passed away. The revered monarch reportedly joined his ancestors early this morning.

Oba Adedapo, who also served as the secretary of Yoruba Obas, reigned for 19 years. At the time of this report, no official statement has been released by the palace.

However, the sons and daughters of Ido-Osun have taken to social media to mourn the loss of their beloved monarch.
