A devastating rainstorm has claimed the life of one individual and displaced approximately 600 people in the Iloko community, situated in the Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State. Reports indicate that in March, residents and traders of Iloko-Ijesa suffered significant losses, amounting to millions of naira, due to heavy rainfall that wreaked havoc and demolished homes in the town.

Providing an update on the assessment of the damage, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), in collaboration with Osun State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and community leaders, conducted an evaluation of the rainstorm disaster in Iloko, Oriade LGA of Osun State.
