Final Nominees For The 2024 CAF Awards Revealed

The final shortlist for the 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) awards set to take place in Marrakesh, Morocco on 16 December has been confirmed.

South Africa has a huge influence this year around with nine category nominations, which includes Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos, while Ronwen Williams has been shortlisted in three different categories.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) Football of the Season has been swimming in plaudits over his exploits in the calendar year which began with a sensational showing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote dโ€™Ivoire where he steered South Africa to a bronze medal.

He won the Goalkeeper of the Tournament award and followed this up by finishing ninth in the Ballon dโ€™Or for goalkeepers, the Yashine Trophy.
