Transfer: Napoli to replace Osimhen with another Super Eagles striker

Napoli is eyeing potential recruits from the Super Eagles squad as they seek to fill the void left by Victor Osimhen’s anticipated departure from the Italian champions this summer.

Among their considerations is Victor Boniface, a 23-year-old compatriot of Osimhen who currently plies his trade with Bayer Leverkusen in Germany. Boniface’s impressive record includes 10 goals and eight assists in just 15 starts, earning him the Rookie of the Month award four times in a row.

Despite an adductor injury sidelining him for much of the Rückrunde, Napoli, according to Italian transfer expert Niccolò Ceccarini, is considering him alongside other striking options like Benjamin Sesko. Ceccarini’s insights, as reported by Calcio Mercato, shed light on Napoli’s strategic approach to bolstering their attacking lineup.
