Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong, has been ruled out of the clash against Guinea-Bissau today.
The Nation learnt that Troost-Ekong is down with a hamstring injury and was seen with an iced pack to the knee area of his right leg.
Last Thursday, the 30-year-old POAK defender scored the winner for the Super Eagles against host country Côte d’Ivoire and suffered an injury.
Before the start of the tournament, the Eagles lost the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface, Umar Sadiq, and Wilfred Ndidi to injuries.
However, a win today against Guinea-Bissau will seal the round of 16 qualification for the Super Eagles.
