The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party on Wednesday named the Osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as Chairman of its 159 member campaign council for the Ondo State Governorship Election slated for November 16, 2024
This was contained in a notice released by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hon Debo Ologunagba, in Abuja.
Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang was named Co-Chairman, while, Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal was named the deputy chairman of the campaign council.
PDP, in the statement, said, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our Great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the exercise of its powers, and under its commitment of ensuring victory for our Party at the upcoming Governorship Elections in Edo and Ondo States respectively, has approved the inauguration of Edo and Ondo State Governorship Election National Campaign Councils.”
The inauguration, according to PDP will be held at the party’s national secretariat, adding, “all leaders, critical stakeholders and members of the Edo and Ondo State Governorship Election National Campaign Councils should take note and be guided accordingly.”
