• Urge Police to fish out APC Chieftains involved in the dastardly Act
The Osun PDP in a statement today by the Caretaker chairman of the party in the state, Dr Akindele Adekunle condemned the unprovoked killings of its members in Ilesha after the success of its campaign rally in the local government.
“Just yesterday, after our successful campaign rally in Ilesha, Osun Apc unleashed their killer’s squad into the public and started shooting sporadically and targeting PDP members who enthusiastically welcome the campaign train of our party led by Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of the State.
“As a result of this devilish act from them, two members of our party (PDP) from Ilesa West area were shot dead with the third one in coma.
“Those killed by the hired thugs of APC on the orders of their party chieftains in the state are; Rafiu Quadri Abiodun and Elijah Baba Ewe while the third victim, Gbenga Femi from Olorunsogo is in a state of coma presently.
“It is regrettable that this den of criminals called a political party won’t stop at any length to find their way back to power in Osun State even when the people have outrightly rejected them in every part of the state.”
“The enthusiasm and excitement that greeted our campaign train in Ilesha yesterday confirms the readiness of the good people of Osun State to vote for all PDP candidates and even do more than they did in the last Gubernatorial election in the state and this is what the vicious elements and hyenas and jackals of a party in the state are jittery of.”
“We condemned this unprovoked killings outrightly and called on the Nigeria Police and other sister security agencies to fish out all Apc chieftains in the state responsible for this unnecessary bloodshedding.”
It would be recalled, we’ve issued a Red alert to the public previously of a clandestine plans of the janjaweed opposition party(Apc) in the state to attack our party supporters, and that, the cursed political party called Apc in the state has alloted and designated several of their criminal elements and known thugs into different local governments in the state which are PDP strongholds to attack and cause crisis before, during and after the election, the confirmation of such is the yesterday attack that was witnessed in Ilesha.
We wish to let this devilish political party note that, this will be heavily resisted as the Police are called to do their work and fish out every identified elements that wants to disturb the peace and tranquility this state enjoys.
No act of scaremongering tactics by APC in Osun will stop our people from rejecting them at the poll come this Saturday’s election.
Osun is a PDP state and so will it be, as God liveth!
