Step-by-Step guide to apply for 2025 Civil Defence, Immigration, Correctional and Fire Service recruitment


The Federal Government has officially opened the 2025 recruitment exercise for four major paramilitary agencies under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the board confirmed that recruitment will cover the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Eligibility Requirements

Citizenship: Nigerian by birth

Age: 18 to 35 years

Duration: 3 weeks

Height:

Male: Minimum 1.65 metres, chest size 0.87 metres

Female: Minimum 1.60 metres
Character: Must have no criminal record

Health: Must be medically and physically fit

Educational Qualifications

Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with 4–5 credits including English and Mathematics Applicants with NCE, OND, HND, B.Sc. or higher degrees in relevant fields such as law, engineering, medicine, or technical trades are encouraged to apply.

4. Select a Cadre:

   Category A: Superintendent Cadre
Category B: Inspectorate Cadre

   Category C: Assistant Cadre

5. Fill Personal Details:
Upload educational documents, birth certificate, passport photograph, national ID, etc.

6. Review and Submit:

   Check for accuracy before final submission.
7. Print Acknowledgement Slip:

   Save or print the confirmation after a successful application.
