The National Vice President of the Association of Female Comrades (AFC), Lady Comrade Lateef Taiwo Sofiyah, popularly known as Empress, has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to Superintendent of Police (SP) Josephine Adeh following her emergence as the Best Public Relations Officer of the Year in the Nigeria Police Force.

In an official statement released to the press on Wednesday, Lady Comrade Sofiyah praised SP Adeh for her exemplary professionalism, tireless dedication, and consistent commitment to excellence in law enforcement communication and public engagement.

“SP Josephine Adeh’s recognition as the Best PRO of the Year is not only well-deserved but also a source of pride and inspiration to women across the country, especially those in uniform,” said the AFC Vice President. “She has redefined what it means to serve with integrity, grace, and impact.”

Lady Comrade Sofiyah also commended SP Adeh for her unwavering support for the Association of Female Comrades and her advocacy for women’s inclusion and visibility within security and leadership sectors.

“She has shown immense support to our association and continues to be a strong pillar for female empowerment and gender equity in policing. Her success story speaks volumes to young women everywhere — that with consistency, courage, and competence, the sky is only the starting point,” Empress added.

SP Josephine Adeh, who currently serves as the Police Public Relations Officer for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, was selected for national recognition following her outstanding performance in police-community relations, media engagement, and timely dissemination of credible information.

The Association of Female Comrades, a national platform for advocating women’s rights, leadership, and empowerment, described the award as a significant milestone not only for SP Adeh but also for women in security roles across Nigeria.

“We celebrate SP Adeh today as a beacon of excellence and look forward to many more milestones in her journey. She has made us proud,” the statement concluded.
