Governor Adeleke Orders Urgent Review of Poorly Constructed Road

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has dispatched top officials from the Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Works, and the O-RAMP Project to the community affected by a reportedly substandard road construction.

The delegation’s visit was aimed at conducting an on-the-spot assessment, engaging with community members, and delivering the governor’s message of commitment to addressing the issue.

During the visit, the team conveyed Governor Adeleke’s directive for an immediate review of the road project and called for remedial action in line with established best practices. The officials assured community members that beyond the review and follow-up repairs, the governor is also considering other pressing needs of the area.

The delegation is currently interfacing with the contractors and project managers to compile detailed reports and outline necessary corrective measures. According to the governor’s directive, the team is expected to submit its findings by Monday, after which further corrective actions will be decided.

Governor Adeleke’s swift response underscores his administration’s commitment to quality infrastructure and responsiveness to community concerns.
