Wole Oke Shares Tinubu Image Following PDP Exit, Signals 2027 Alignment

Hon. Oluwole Oke, a six-term member of the House of Representatives, has sparked political discussions following his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) earlier today.

Shortly after making his departure from the PDP public, Oke posted a graphic on his official Facebook page featuring himself alongside President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The image was captioned: “BOO for Asiwaju Project 2027, Ijesha North PBAT 2027 Movement,” hinting at possible support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Oke, who currently represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State, has not formally announced his defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). However, the post suggests a shift in political direction.

As of press time, the lawmaker has yet to issue an official statement confirming his new party affiliation.
