The Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), Pastor Tunde Bakare, has advised President Bola Tinubu to “stop playing God,” urging him to embrace humility.
Bakare gave the admonition in a nationwide broadcast on Sunday, warning that the present administration is steering the nation in the wrong direction.
“Stop playing God,” Bakare said to Tinubu, adding that while he does not agree with the latter’s political perspective, it was not his wish to see him fail.
Speaking further, Bakare stated, “The current administration is steering the polity adrift. It is time for this government to embrace humility.”
The clergyman further stated that his words were not a condemnation but guidance aimed at taking Nigeria’s leadership towards a better path.
