Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Rtd) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has debunked a report on social media and other platforms stating that he has approved the recruitment of 10,000 qualified graduates and non-graduates into the Rivers State Civil Service.
The report also stated that the recruitment portal will open for applications at midnight on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
The viral report was attributed to the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Lucky Worika.
However, in a statement, the Ag. Head of the Rivers State Civil Service, Dr. Inyingi Brown, described the announcement as fake and urged the public to ignore it.
She stated that appropriate information will be released by the Rivers State Civil Service Commission when the government decides to recruit
