Professor Bayo Oloyede to Receive Osun NIPR Pillar of Public Relations Award
The Osun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has announced Professor Bayo Oloyede, a distinguished Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication at Redeemer’s University, Ede, as a recipient of the prestigious Pillar of Public Relations Award at the upcoming Osun NIPR Awards.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of Osun NIPR, Comrade Ademola Adesoji, Prof. Oloyede was recognized for his outstanding contributions to public relations, dedication to knowledge sharing, and his instrumental role in mentoring and shaping the careers of numerous public relations scholars and practitioners.
According to Adesoji, the award is a testament to Prof. Oloyede’s exemplary leadership, scholarly excellence, and unwavering commitment to advancing public relations education and practice in Nigeria.
The award presentation is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the Conference Hall, Leisure Spring Hotel and Suite, Osogbo.
Adesoji noted that the Osun NIPR Awards celebrate individuals who have significantly influenced the field of public relations, fostering professionalism, ethical standards, and academic excellence.
