Journalist summoned over alleged defamation arrives INTERPOL office in Abuja

An Ibadan based journalist, Peter Olasupo has arrived at the office of International Criminal Police Organization, INTERPOL, in abuja, following a summons

Olasupo was summoned by the INTERPOL over alleged criminal defamation and cyberstalking a few days ago.

The journalist informed other newsmen that he is at the INTERPOL’s office alongside his lawyer.

He said, “Today, Monday, 13th January 2025, at 9:30am, I am currently at the International Criminal Police Organization, INTERPOL, Headquarters at Force Headquarters, Shehu Shagari Way, Garki, Abuja, with my lawyer.

”This is in response to their invitation regarding their investigation into allegations of criminal defamation and cyberstalking, which they claim involve me.

”Thank you all for your support. I will keep you updated as events unfold. God bless us all”.
