Boko Haram terrorists kill two in Borno, burn church

Boko Haram terrorists have attacked a community in Borno State, killed two persons and burnt down a church.

DAILY POST reports that the community is called Bamzir village under Whuntaku District, Chibok Local Government Area of the state.

The media team of the local government chairman of Chibok LGA Mustapha Madu, in a statement said the terrorists attacked around 2:10 am on Sunday and burnt down houses, resulting in the death of two brothers identified as Josiah Pogu Pudza, an SS 2 student, and Enoch Pogu Pudza, while one Esther Yohanna sustained a bullet injury.

According to the statement, the terrorists carted away food items and livestock, and razed down a church auditorium, several houses and shops.


Mustapha commiserated with the family of the bereaved and inspected all the burnt houses, shops, and the church auditorium.

The incident came just at the same time some suspected Lakurawa terrorists killed several persons in North-Western state of Kebbi.
