An alleged victim who accused Jay-Z and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of raping her has admitted some inconsistencies in her allegations.
Daily Sun reported that the unidentified woman listed as Jane Doe alleged that Jay-Z and Diddy raped her when she was just 13 years old in 2ooo.
Speaking with NBC News on Friday, the Alabama resident said: “I have made some mistakes,” while opening up on the “catastrophic event” she claims happened at a house party after the MTV Video Music Awards.
She further acknowledged three inconsistencies in her account of what allegedly transpired that evening.
Given the latest development, Jay-Z’s attorney has requested to expedite the case’s dismissal in a legal document seen by Page Six.
The lawyer Alex Spiro asked the judge to shorten the filing deadline for the case dismissal from 21 days to one.
According to Spiro, the request was a result of “today’s stunning public disclosures and severe ongoing harm to Mr. Carter’s reputation”.
The unnamed woman says she was picked up by her father after the alleged rape incident, per court documents obtained by Page Six.
Despite her father being unable to recall the events in the time period, the alleged victim said she remembers everything.
“There are a lot of things, and this is stuff that we argue about constantly, something he said or did back in New York around that time period he just doesn’t remember.
“It actually causes a lot of fights sometimes in the household,” she stated.
“Honestly, what is the clearest is what happened to me and [the] route that I took to what happened to me. Not all of the faces there are as clear.
“So I have made some mistakes. I may have made a mistake in identifying,” she added.
