The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Makurdi, Benue State.

The EFCC said operatives of its Makurdi Zonal Directorate arrested the suspects at Abu King Shuluwe Street Akpehe, Makurdi metropolis.

According to the anti-graft commission, their arrest was based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet fraud.

“Items recovered from them include: two cars, five laptop computers, 17 mobile phones among others

“The suspects will be charged to court as soon as their investigations are concluded,” the EFCC said.
