Kwara gov reshuffles cabinet

The Kwara State Government has announced a minor reshuffle in the State Executive Council, aimed at optimizing the performance of various government ministries.

The changes, announced by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, take immediate effect.

Key Changes:

Social Development Ministry:

Mrs. Justina Afolashade, the Commissioner for Social Development, has been redeployed to take over as the head of the Ministry of Women Affairs.

Her new role will focus on promoting gender equality and empowering women in the state.

Women Affairs Ministry:

Mrs. Bosede Buraimoh, who was previously in charge of the Ministry of Women Affairs, has been moved to take over as the Commissioner for Social Development.

In her new role, she will oversee the development of social programs and initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of citizens.

Youth Development Ministry:

Mrs. Nafisat Buge, the Commissioner for Youth Development, has been redeployed to head the Ministry of Environment.

Her new role will focus on promoting sustainable environmental practices and conserving natural resources in the state.

Environment Ministry:

Mr. Shehu Usman, who was previously in charge of the Ministry of Environment, has been moved to take over as the Commissioner for Youth Development.

In his new role, he will focus on implementing programs aimed at empowering and developing the youth in Kwara State.

The Governor’s decision to reshuffle his cabinet is aimed at injecting fresh ideas and perspectives into various government ministries.

The changes are designed to optimize the performance of government agencies and ensure that they are better equipped to deliver on their mandate.
