Benue APC organises prayer session for Tinubu

The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) organized a prayer session for President Bola Tinubu, the nation, and various other concerns.

Held from noon until evening on Monday, the session included the state party leadership and members, with several clergy members leading the prayers.

The event took place in two parts: the first session was held in a chapel, and the second on an open ground, both located within the private residence of Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, in Makurdi.

Eight prayer points were led by the bishops present, focusing on Nigeria’s peace, wisdom and knowledge for President Bola Tinubu, improvements in the nation’s economy and security, and divine intervention in the ongoing nationwide strike.

They also prayed for God’s assistance in addressing the security situation in Benue State and for guidance in resolving the ongoing dispute between the state governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, and party stakeholders.

State party chairman Austin Agada explained that the prayer session was organized in light of the current national situation and to mark President Tinubu’s first anniversary in office.

He stated, “This prayer session was organized for President Bola Tinubu, the nation, and the SGF, Senator George Akume, on the occasion of one year in office. With the security challenges, economic issues, and the ongoing strike by organized labor, we need to pray for the president and his team for divine guidance and intervention.”

Agada assured that Benue State and the north-central geopolitical zone would continue to support President Tinubu, committing to ongoing prayers for his success in office.
