The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of an additional 531 results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), bringing the total number of released results to 1,842,897.
This update was disclosed by the board’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement issued on Tuesday.
According to JAMB, the ongoing screening process of over 64,000 withheld results continues as promised.
Alongside the release of the additional results, the board also identified 11 new cases of examination misconduct, bringing the total tally to 92, up from the initially discovered 81.
The statement further indicated that JAMB is actively addressing cases involving unverified candidates and will provide updates on the matter soon.
Recall that JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, had previously announced the release of the 2024 UTME results on April 29.
However, out of the 1,904,189 candidates who sat for the examination, the results of 64,624 were withheld pending further investigation by the board.
