JAMB to Release 2024 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is gearing up to unveil the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, will address the press in Abuja on Monday to disclose the release of the results and address related matters. This announcement follows a notice circulated to journalists in the capital city by the Board’s Head of Public Relations, Fabian Benjamin, on Sunday.

However, there’s a noteworthy distinction in the release process. The initial batch of results, slated for Monday, will specifically cater to candidates who took the UTME during its early days. Results for other candidates will be released subsequently, post a period of “due diligence.”

The decision to stagger the release of results aims to facilitate thorough scrutiny, ensuring the credibility and integrity of the outcomes. The focus lies on mitigating concerns like impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other forms of malpractice that could undermine the examination process.

The 2024 UTME witnessed over 1.9 million candidates enrolling across more than 700 Computer-Based Test centers nationwide. Commencing on Friday, April 19, 2024, the examination is set to conclude today.
