Former Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, advised President Bola Tinubu to replace any appointees who fail to meet their mandates. Speaking with reporters in Maiduguri, El-Rufai suggested that the president should also consider revising policies that are not producing the desired outcomes.
“If someone appointed to a position isn’t meeting expectations, the president should have the humility to replace them with someone more capable,” El-Rufai remarked.
He also urged citizens to pray for and support the administration’s efforts to bring about positive change. “As citizens, we should pray for our leaders to have the wisdom to make the right decisions and the humility to correct course when necessary. This is essential for societal progress,” he emphasized.
