The Osun State House of Assembly has lifted suspension order placed on the caretaker chairman of Ede South LG, Mr Lukman Afolabi.
This was contained in a statement made available to journalists by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Olamide Tiamiyu.
According to him, the decision was taken after the parliamentary meeting of the Assembly on Thursday when the honourable members reviewed the investigation conducted.
Consequent upon that, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, recalled the Chairman to resume office with immediate effect.
Egbedun advised Afolabi to be more focused in the discharge of his duties, as the House of Assembly pledged to continue to play its supervisory role of ensuring prompt and adequate dispensation of dividend of democracy to the people.
