The Vice-Chancellor, while speaking during the foundation laying ceremony, commends the Federal Government and TETFUND for supporting the University despite the global economic challenges.

He states further “UNIOSUN is gradually becoming the first choice University in Nigeria as evident by the magnitude of the special favor and intervention of the Federal Government.

There is no doubt that we are able to win this because of our commitment to the delivery of an unhindered, high-quality tertiary education in Nigeria. It is a product of the collective effort of all the primary stakeholders in the UNIOSUN project, including the people and government of Osun State.

We therefore promise Governments at all levels as well as all stakeholders that we will not relent in doing the good things that made the University to get this gigantic support, and we shall continue to focus on achieving the University’s vision and mission as planned by the founding fathers.”
