Matadors Leadership Institute, a leading human capacity development and management consulting group in Nigeria has announced the commencement of the Common Good Fellowship programme for young persons interested in social impact. The Fellowship programme is designed to promote a culture of service and empower individuals to make a lasting impact in their communities. The program will equip participants with the necessary tools, strategies, and knowledge to create a lasting and meaningful impact in their communities. The Fellowship is in partnership with an American based leadership organization, Leadership Across Borders.

According to the Head of Operations, Matadors Leadership Institute, Olusele Fred Precious, the Common Good Fellowship is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. It will provide comprehensive training, support, and guidance to aspiring social entrepreneurs, community leaders, and individuals who want to make a difference. The program aims to inspire social entrepreneurship and community leadership, while encouraging collaboration and networking among participants.

The Fellowship will last for 16 weeks and will be virtual. The first cohort will commence in March 2023, with 70 Fellows expected to be selected for the programme. Eligibility for the first cohort is limited to Nigerians.

The programme will focus on imparting skills and strategies for effective social impact work, with an emphasis on leveraging results to build a marketable brand. The Fellowship aims to help individuals move beyond seeking recognition to finding solutions to the problems facing society. The program is designed to help participants achieve their goals and become known for their positive impact on society.
