Nigerian Rapper Odumodublvck Survives Ghastly Car Crash, Shares Photos From Hospital Bed

Nigerian hip-hop and Afrobeats sensation, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, professionally known as Odumodublvck, has survived a fatal car accident after his luxury vehicle was crushed by a trailer on a highway.

The rapper confirmed the incident in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday morning, sharing shocking images of the wrecked car and a photo of himself in a hospital bed receiving medical attention.

“The Machine Must Arrive” – Odumodublvck Speaks After Surviving Crash

Despite the severity of the crash, Odumodublvck, known for his energetic style and bold personality, maintained his signature confidence in his posts.

He wrote: “THE MACHINE MUST ARRIVE IN 1 PIECE. IT IS A MUST. THE MACHINE IS COMING.”

In another post, he added:

“SURVIVED. THE MACHINE MUST ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE. IT IS A MUST. THE MACHINE IS COMING.”

His cryptic messages suggest resilience and possibly hint at an upcoming music project.

One of the images he shared shows his badly wrecked car, with the front and side panels completely crushed after colliding with the heavy-duty truck. Another photo shows him lying in a hospital bed, attached to a drip, with visible injuries.

While the extent of his injuries remains unclear, the rapper’s ability to post online suggests he is in stable condition.

Born Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, Odumodublvck is one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising rap stars, blending Afrobeats, hip-hop, and grime influences to create a distinct sound.

Hailing from Abuja, he gained mainstream recognition with his hit single “Declan Rice”, which became an instant street anthem in Nigeria and beyond. 

His unique style — combining streetwise lyricism with raw energy — has earned him a cult following.

He signed to Native Records, a subsidiary of Def Jam Recordings. He won Rookie of the Year at the 2023 Headies Awards. He dropped his critically acclaimed project “EZIOKWU”, featuring tracks that dominated Nigerian music charts and collaborated with top stars like Zlatan, BOJ, and Fireboy DML.

Following news of his accident, fans flooded his social media pages with prayers and well-wishes, praising him for his tenacity and determination.

While Odumodublvck has yet to provide full details on the accident, many are relieved that he escaped with his life.

As he recovers, his supporters eagerly await his next move—whether a return to the studio or another high-energy performance.
