Nollywood actor Aliu Gafar, popularly known as Esusu in the trending movie Seven Doors, has shared insights into his experience on set and what fans can expect from him in 2025.

According to him, the character was a stark contrast to his personality, requiring him to delve into a tactical mindset and switch gears to bring the role to life.
He said, “As an actor, you should be ready to fit into any character you’re called upon to do. Location became home as we were like family, ensuring everyone delivered to make the project a collective success.”
Reflecting on his time on set, Gafar highlighted the familial bond he shared with the Seven Doors team. “It’s a large family; the cast, the crew, everybody was just amazing. I learned a lot on the set of Seven Doors. In this industry, you must always be ready to learn more.”
Gafar further heaped praises on Femi Adebayo, the driving force behind the movie. “Femi is a legend in the industry. He knows how to carry everyone along to ensure a collective success. He’s amazing, thrilling, and to crown it all, he is a maker of kings.”
The talented actor expressed his gratitude and excitement for the recognition Seven Doors has brought him. “This moment means so much to me, and I’ll forever cherish it. I believe I can deliver perfectly and shake the world of filmmaking by God’s grace.”
He also teased fans with his big plans for the coming year, hinting at projects that will break boundaries. “Something BIG, HUGE… something unusual is coming. I have always been an advocate of phallocentric cross-cultural production, and that’s what you should expect.”
