Actress Angela Okorie reacts after her phone went missing on movie set

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has openly expressed her dissatisfaction after her Samsung phone was stolen while filming a movie.

In an Instagram post, the actress expressed her dismay, describing the occurrence and expressing shock that such crimes continue to occur in 2024.

Angela said that her phone, which had a photo of herself and her kid as the screensaver, went missing when she was working on the set of Unholy Fantasy. Despite several days of searching, the phone has not been found.

“While we were filming, someone stole my Samsung phone. It’s been over a week, and we are still looking for it. Didn’t the person see the picture of me and my son on the screensaver and feel a twinge of conscience? Stealing someone else’s phone is pure wickedness,” she lamented.

The actress could not hold back her feelings, claiming she had cursed the culprit and labeling their acts as callous. She also wondered why somebody would stoop to snatching a phone when she might have given assistance if asked.

“Doesn’t the thief know I could have given them more than a million naira if they had just asked? Stealing doesn’t change your life; it only makes you a thief and a destroyer. You’ve done me bad, but you’ve done yourself worse,” Angela wrote.
