FCCPC enforces price regulations in Nasarawa markets

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) intensified its campaign against price irregularities in local markets by conducting a monitoring exercise at Masaka market in Nasarawa State on Friday.

This move is part of the commission’s broader efforts to ensure compliance with pricing, quantity, and quality standards for sellers of consumable goods nationwide.

Recently, the FCCPC inspected two 4U Supermarket outlets in Wuse 2, Abuja, during which the Commission seized 94 bags of expired goods and other items. Consequently, the branch located at 58 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Wuse 2, was closed down.
