VIDEO: How Super Eagles ordeal began in Libya — Tunisian pilot

The Tunisian pilot who flew the ValueJet plane with Nigeria’s Super Eagles and officials aboard has explained how the team’s ordeal began in Libya. 

According to him, Libyan authority earlier approved the plane to land at Benghazi Airport.

He stated that the communications to divert to another airport, Al Abraq, where the players were stranded, came when he was already descending to land at approved airport.
