Super Eagles star Boniface shares photo of ‘Isakaba’ bus provided by Libya FA

Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface has shared a photograph of ‘Isakaba’ bus provided by the Libyan Football Association ahead of the clash on Tuesday.

The team’s trip to Libya for the AFCON qualifiers’ second leg has been marred by delays. After being diverted from Benghazi to Al Abaq, the team has been stranded at the airport for over 15 hours, awaiting assistance from Libyan officials.

Meanwhile, Boniface took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, to express his disappointment with the transportation arrangements made for the team.

The forward revealed that the Nigerian contingent refused to board the bus provided, citing unacceptable conditions.

“See Iskaba bus wey them bring come yesterday, Nobody enter ooo,” he wrote.

The Bayer Leverkusen player added: “See this dragon carry bus come after 16 hours. Come Dey video.”

The Nigerian delegates were forced to spend last night in dire conditions, following the opposition’s unsportsmanlike actions, who lost 1-0 in the first leg at Uyo.
