Cristiano Ronaldo acquires 25% stake in UD Almería

Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired a 25 percent ownership stake in UD Almería, expanding his footprint in football beyond his playing career.
The investment was made through his CR7 Sports Investments company in partnership with the club’s majority Saudi owners.
UD Almería currently sit third in LaLiga Hypermotion with 48 points from 27 matches and are on a four-game winning streak, trailing leaders Racing Santander by just two points as they push for promotion to La Liga.
Ronaldo said the move reflects his long-standing desire to contribute to the game off the pitch, describing the club as one with strong foundations and clear growth potential.
The deal also reconnects the Portuguese star with Spanish football, where he enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Real Madrid, while aligning his legacy with the ambitions of the Andalusian side.
