Super Falcons duo, Rasheedat Ajibade and Chiamaka Nnadozie have been nominated for the 2024 CAF Women’s Player of the Year award.
The two players are nominated among eight other players.
Ajibade and Nnadozie were members of the Super Falcons squad for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The two players put up excellent performances for their respective teams.
Ajibade helped Atletico Madrid finish third in the Spanish Iberdrola in 2023/24.
Nnadozie, for her part, propelled French D’Arkema side Paris FC to UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying.
She was voted Best Goalkeeper at the 2023 CAF Awards.
Last year, Asisat Oshoala won the award.
