Norwich City have been promoted to the English Premier League (EPL) for the fifth time.
The club secured promotion on Saturday without kicking a ball.
The promotion represents an immediate return to the EPL after getting relegated to the Championship in the 2019/20 EPL season.
It is the earliest they have secured promotion since their first in 2004.
Norwich’s EPL return was guaranteed after third-place Swansea were held to a 2-2 draw by Wycombe, who sit at the bottom of the table.
Brentford, fourth on the log, also failed to win their game, drawing 0-0 with Millwall.
The Canaries dominated the Championship with 27 wins from their 41 games so far this season.
Only Watford, who are eight points behind them, can deny them a third Championship title.
The Canaries do not play until Saturday evening, when they face Bournemouth at Carrow Road.
