Nigerian Army Propaganda is Too Small, says Olowu of Kuta

The Olowu of Kuta in Osun State, Oba Adekunle Oyelude Makama has advised the Nigerian Army to improve on its propaganda, if at all victory will be achieved in the fight against insurgency in Nigeria.

The monarch said this while addressing participants at the just concluded Social Media Seminar organised by the Civil Military Affairs Department of the Nigerian Army which held in Osogbo, Osun state.

He explained that many people are out to destroy Nigeria and that the success of the Nigerian Army is the only achievement of President Muhammadu Buhari so far, which is the reason why the Army must improve its propaganda.

Makama stressed further that if the military success is removed from the Buhari administration, then the administration will go without any achievement.

“No war is won without a propaganda” he said

The monarch noted however that the internal security is not the work of the Army but its even of great service to Nigeria that the army has taken up the task of fighting insurgency.

He frowned at how a set of individuals have taken on the Federal Government, seeking a removal of the Service Chiefs and most especially Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai adding that this is not how to be One Nigeria.

Makama also charged Online Journalist and social media influencers to support the army by making sure that the information being released is confirmed and to desist from stories that will portray the Army as the enemy of Nigeria.
