Omisore’s Wife Becomes Regent in Ekiti

Wife of a former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Barrister Mojisola Omisore has been appointed a Regent in Ekiti State.

It was gathered on Wednesday that Mojisola Omisore was selected as the new Regent Oisa Amulodu of Ado Ekiti.

Her husband who was a Senator representing Osun East at the National Assembly is a native of Ile-Ife in Osun State.

Mojisola Omisore, a Barrister and Solicitor was selected as the Regent of the late High Chief Julius Adeleye Fashubaa’s chieftaincy position.

Pastor Felix Ade Fashubaa, who issued a statement on behalf of the Oisa Fashubaa family of Ado Ekiti, stressed that the installation ceremony will be held in Ado Ekiti.

Fashubaa in the statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday maintained that the installation is to be held in line with the laid down protocols of COVID-19.

He enjoined those who would not be physically present at the event to join on zoom.

He said, “As much as we would have loved to mark this great and joyful occasion together, the laid down protocols of COVID 19 have to be followed, as your safety is paramount to us at these unprecedented times.

“Since we cannot all be physically present at the events, we request that you join us on zoom, details of which will be made available to you in a short while”.

Our correspondent learnt that Mojisola Omisore is the Director of Special Duties in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Abuja.
