President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow address the nation on the celebration of June 12 which is the new Democracy Day in Nigeria, Affairs TV Reporrs.
The was made known by Garba Shehu, the official Spokesperson of the President via his twitter handle @GarShehu.
The President is expected to address the Nation by 7AM and it is expected to be televised on all National Television stations.
Recall that President Buhari had declared June 12 as the New Democracy Day in Nigeria to honour the Late Chief Moshood Abiola (MKO) instead of May 29 which it has always been.
Affairs TV had earlier reported that the Federal Goverment had declared Friday, June 12, 2020 a public Holiday.
Television and radio stations as well as other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.— Garba Shehu (@GarShehu) June 11, 2020
