BREAKING: Osun records first Coronavirus case as NCDC confirms two new cases

The National Centre for Disease Control has confirmed two new cases of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria, bringing the record of cases in Nigeria to 46.

NCDC confirmed this in a tweet via there official Twitter account @NCDCgov on Wednesday Morning.

The two new cases according to NCDC is for a UK returnee in Osun and another person in Lagos.

It is pathetic and unfortunate the way both the government & the citizens of Nigeria are attending to this pandemic global disease.I imagine if it were to be in Nigeria the outbreak first rear up ,this country might have been wiped out of existence.Is Nigeria still in the dark age?The best proactive measure would have been total ban on intra & inter state movement. In addition, government should ask all civil servants of grades 13& above to be indoors except people on essential services.Market whether daily or weekly should be opened for two days with wider publicity that those markkets would be closed for two or three weeks.If citizens lives are valued, government should take a proactive step now judging from how the virus has shaken Nations that have better structures.As an adage says,a stitch in time saves nine.The insensitivity of the government to movements all over on Nigerian cities & villages are as if we are exposing the Nation to doom.Thanks
