The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB and suspended the use of the National Identification Number as prerequisite for the registration of the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME.

The Registrar of JAMB Professor Ishaq Oloyede who stated this while briefing newsmen in Abuja said the move was provide more time for candidates to get their national identification number.

Prof. Oloyede said the suspension was also to address the technical challenges experienced in some centres.

  1. Please how true is this information? Because my daughter always leave home 2am in the morning for NIN REGISTRATION and she comes back 6pam without doing it because of the crowd. Please its important for me to know how genuine this information is.
