The Manchester City forward, 23, has been sidelined with anterior-cruciate ligament damage but there is hope he will return this season.
He has been in America with City staff for part of his rehab after picking the serious knee injury at the start of the season in the Community Shield.
Pep Guardiola is expecting to have Sane back around February time should his recovery remain on track.
Sane is back in the gym and already leg pressing 20kg, and is set to get the nod for jogging and stability work after the international break.
Both his doctors in Germany and City’s conditioning staff are pleased with how quickly he is progressing and the player has told pals he is way ahead of schedule.
