Oyetola paid congratulatory visit to Buhari

The Governor state of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola paid a congratulatory visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja today to congratulate him on his re-election victory at the poll held on Saturday.

The governor, who congratulated the President and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said, President Muhammadu Buhari victory at the poll is a sign of renewed hope for Nigerians.

He said, “I feel great and happy that President Buhari has been reelected. This victory depicts that our President has done very well in all areas of human endeavors”.

“This victory also shows that our party remains the people’s party. It shows that our government and our party remain the choice of Nigerians”.

“The wide margin of victory shows that people appreciate President Buhari. It shows that he has championed the cause of the masses through his social investment programmes”.

He further added that, “the re-election of our president will help to consolidate on his good works – the diversification of the economy, fight against insurgency, anti corruption crusade and economic rejuvenation.”

President Buhari in his remarks laud the Governor for ensuring the party was victorious in the state and assured that Osun will benefit more in his second term.
